Yesterday one of my students really cracked me up. I over heard him telling some students that "Such and Such Girl" was his girlfriend. Then I hear that "Such and Such Girl" had kissed him. Knowing her parents would not like this (from conversations we've had) I decided I needed to ask some questions.He came forward looking nervous. I asked what he was talking about and he said:
"Well, "Such and Such Girl" kissed me, and so now I think she's my girlfriend and we're going to get married."
I respond to him:
"Are you nervous because you think you're going to have to marry her?"
He says with confidence:
"No, that's what happens after you get kissed."
